Celebrities make a lot of money, like obscene amounts of money, like just coughing up twenty dollar bills and being like, “ugggh, I have so many of these,” but some celebs truly appreciate their fame because before they made it big they were homeless. Yep, these are the stars who traded in homeless shelters for Beverly Hills mansion.

Sylvester Stallone: Stallone once lived in a bus station for a few weeks, but then he booked a film in 1970 that paid $100 a day. He worked for two days and somehow $200 was enough to get him back on his feet. Oh, to be $200 in 1970.

Jim Carrey: Jim Carrey lived in a tent in the backyard of his older sisters home, Patricia Carrey. Actually his brother, sister and parents all lived in a tent in Patricia’s backyard. Why wouldn’t she let them come inside? Eh well, we’ll see if rich Jim Carrey is gonna give her any handouts!
How dare they be normal. Celebrities are supposed to be perfect-looking, beautiful creatures with zero flaws. Otherwise, why the hell don’t I just get a million bucks for wearing a pair of Sketchers?

But some celebs have less-than-perfect teeth. Actually, some of them just have straight up bad teeth. Braces, veneers, Invisalign...these celebrities haven’t heard of any of those. Or, they just don’t care. Sometimes having a quirky smile can turn into a celeb’s trademark. Like Cindy Crawford’s mole. At any rate, here are some stars with jacked up grills.

Madonna: Know where Madonna shops for khakis? I’m guessing it’s…wait for it…The Gap. Madonna refuses to close her famous gap, saying that it’s the reason she’s been so lucky. In 1990, Madonna graced the cover of Glamour magazine. The only problem is, they took the liberty of fixing her teeth for her. Yes, they got rid of the gap. She was so mad about it, when they named her Woman of the Year, she refused to accept the award....

From bear costumes to fart machines, some celebrities make being on set a little more fun.

Ashton Kutcher is notorious for being a prankster—he made an entire show out of it—but there are a handful of other surprising celebs that enjoy making fools of their friends.

Johnny Depp: During their work on Pirates of the Caribbean, Penelope Cruz told Hollyscoop that Depp is an “amazing, great human being.” She must’ve forgiven the actor for pranking her with a fart machine when they filmed the appropriately titled film, Blow. "I was doing a very dramatic close-up," Cruz said, explaining that, using a remote control, "he kept making that sound with the machine.” A remote control? Sounds pretty complicated for something that could be accomplished with a hand in the armpit

R&B singer Sean Kingston is left in critical but stable condition after his jet ski crashed into a bridge in Miami on Sunday. Let’s hope the pop star recovers fully and quickly from this frightening accident.

This isn’t the first time that a celeb has been involved in a scary accident.

Mariah Carey fell onstage while performing in Singapore in September 2010, not altogether alarming, except she was preggers and needed to be hospitalized afterwards! The good news is, we all know how that story turned out, Mariah gave birth to healthy twins in April while she belted, “Always Be My Baby.” Joking about that last part.

It seems like everyone is Hollywood either just got pregnant or is about to give birth. And Jewel and her hubby Ty Murray are definitely somewhere in between.

Jewel just announced that she's expecting her first child last month and now we know it's a little boy. Aww.

"We would have been happy either way, of course, but we are so excited to be having a little boy," Jewel tells People magazine.

"I have to admit, I was doing a little dance on our way out of the doctor's office when we found out!" added Ty, a nine-time World Champion rodeo cowboy.

They've both talked about having kids for so long it's genuinely nice to hear them talk so excitedly about their baby. What do you think they should name their baby boy? Leave suggestions in the comments.

Congrats to singer Jewel and her hubby Ty Murray, who are expecting their first child together.

Jewel has been talking about having kids for years and announced the good news while co-hosting Bravo's upcoming new reality show Going Platinum.

"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" Jewel tells People.

"It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.' "

Jewel released her album Lullaby last year with babies in mind. “Ya, Ty and I would like to start a family and I definitely made this album as sort of getting into character. It was neat to record it and actually think of my kids maybe one day getting to hear it,” Jewel told Hollyscoop last year.

Congrats you two!
Just two months after being fired off American Idol, Kara DioGuardi is right back on television—albeit a different network. According to a press release from Bravo, DioGuardi has just been hired as head judge on the show Going Platinum.

Singer-songwriter herself Jewel will host the show, and occasionally help Kara out at the judges table.

Kara DioGuardi Blindsided By Idol Firing

The show is a songwriting competition that will follow 12 musicians as they write music and lyrics for different genres, from hip-hop to love songs to dance tracks. The winner will receive a $100,000 prize, as well as music-publishing and recording deals.

"Hit songs are the backbone of the music industry, and as a publisher, nothing excites me more than finding new songwriting talent," DioGuardi said in a statement. "I am happy to be a part of a show that helps up and coming songwriters pursue their dreams, while giving the public a look into the creative process."

A source familiar with the show says it's a good fit for DioGuardi because "at heart, she's a songwriter. Idol was performance-driven. This isn't just about finding the next big singer – it's about finding a hit maker, and she loves to nurture talent."

Sounds like a pretty cool idea for a show—and a perfect fit for both Kara and Jewel!

Ty Murray may have dreams of winning the Dancing with the Stars trophy, but he also has dreams of having children with his wife Jewel.

Jewel and Ty haven't celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary yet, but they've been together for over a decade now. So naturally, babies would come next, right?

With both their busy schedules it's hard to imagine where they would find the time to procreate, but babies are definitely on their minds!

Jewel is currently working on her new album, Lullaby, which will be released on May 5th, just in time for Mother’s Day. She described her new project as an "album of lullabies, but it's for adults really, its lyric driven, its all mellow mood music so if you want to come home at night and relax its all really lyric driven,” she told Hollyscoop during Monday nights taping of DWTS.

With lullabies in mind, we asked Jewel if she and Ty were working on starting a family? “Ya, Ty and I would like to start a family and I definitely made this album as sort of getting into character. It was neat to record it and actually think of my kids maybe one day getting to hear it,” Jewel told Hollyscoop exclusively.

"It's one of the reasons we got married, to start a family, so we're going to start working on it,” she said.

Ty added, “Ya we want to have some kids, we’ve been together a long time going on 11 years. We just got married in August, so we're looking forward to having some babies.”

And they're already getting into role-play, "It's the easy part,” said Jewel. Looks like once the season is over we may be hearing some baby news from this happy couple!
