Tony Romo Pisses Jessica Off

Golden rule #1 when you get into a new relationship: Don't bring up the ex! Tony Romo learned that lesson the hard way when he brought up his ex Carrie Underwood to current girlfriend Jessica Simpson while in Hawaii for Pro Bowl.

Romo upset Simpson by making a comment about how Carrie is a better country singer. Well duh...that's a given!

A source said: "He really hurt Jess' feelings. She tried to laugh it off in Hawaii, but she pouted whenever she heard Carrie's songs playing."

The insider added: "Tony said he thought Jess would have trouble winning over audiences with her upcoming country CD."

Since Romo broke the golden rule, this one goes to Jess! She has every right to be pissed off at her new beau for the comment. Do you guys think Jessica's new country album will do well?

Hollyscoop why report on Okay articles. They have obviously got it in for Jessica and it is so blatantly obvious with these fake and silly stories. Smacks of desperation really. As for Carrie's voice she has a stronger voice but I prefer the tone of Jessica's and I think she has more personality and stage presence. If she has some really good songs she'll do okay.

OK is being vindictive to Jessica for some reason. They seem bent on destroying her by spreading innuendos. After that "dumping" fiasco, I'm sure most people don't believe what they say anymore. As for the couple, as a cancer born, we do not take a slight lightly. And Jess is beautiful, has her own money, has her own house and Vegas penthouse, she surely will not put up with a man who would do something like that. So I don't believe for a minute that Tony said anything like that. And for the record, Tony was the one who announced on national tv in 2006 that he's always had a crush on Jess. As for her country album, success always depends on the songs. I wish her luck.

Romo is a player so I wouldn't trust this relationship to last. I think Jess's country album will bomb. Her voice isn't as good as it used to be and she makes these weird movements now with her lips that is distracting and looks stupid when she sings. She didn't use to do that when she first started out. I wish her well though but I don't think the album will go over too well.

I would actually like to see this couple make it. never really been involved in much of thsi stuff but I think the crap Jessica took from Texas was just plain BS. I think Jessica is starting to bloom & come alive. MY other comment is that Nick did her no favours at all. He came off as this poor friggin me attitude when sources had him pegged. For him to come off as saying he only took the 11 million so he didn't drag the divorce out is plain BS. The fact is that Nick knew that was all he would get or he would be dragged through the mud. Nick is no innocent here & I agree with Jess 1-2 weeks after divorce & right back at it with the ladies something that craeted his divorce in the first place. I would hope that TOny is able to be there for her on his off season as I am sure she will be there for him on his on season. WE will see what Tony is actually made of I guess. I wonder if he will travel to Kuwait with her as she entertains the troops??

If you read about their past, you can see that they both have similar backgrounds. Both are underdogs, and it took them yearsss to reach to their current level. Right now, people can have any perception they want. Most people look down on them because they are still "unproven" in their career. They have no grammy awards/superbowl rings. But for me, they are just decent people who are working very hard to achieve their American dreams. Can they make it? Only time can tell..

The big difference supporter is that Tony, if he works hard, has the potential to win a superbowl ring. She DOES NOT have the potential to be a grammy winner like Alicia, Amy or Carrie. They would mop the floor with her onstage. Those girls have real authentic talent whereas Jessica's talent is in her bra. I think that's the point Tony was trying to make to her.

geez!! well we see they were out again last night but more subdued. This girl has more money than most of us by a long shot. Why is it that people don't want to see her happy?? If Tony does that for her great & if he doesn't then so be it but I do think they need that chance & for people to leave them alone. It appears that Jess in the beginning of all this put a lot of time aside for Tony. She must want to make this work & see if they can fit in each others worlds. It appears that Tony is willing to do that by spending time with her in LA also. This is the time before his season starts for them to work these issues out. At times I can actually see Jessica giving alot of this all up for the right man. She is set for life. I can see her stepping back with a lot of it. I happen to think Jessica is a late bloomer of sorts in trying to find herself & she is on her way. Jessica is doing nothing different than a lot of other beautiful women out there that started there careers much the same way. Jessica is no retard but plays the part very well. That is her trademark for now. I feel bad if Tony would compare these two women. Both are fantastic women. I can't believe Tony would do something like that & if he did then run Jesse run because he is the player that people claim him to be, I have higher hopes for that with him. Lets see. I think before Tony stepped into this relationship with Jess he knew an awful lot about her & who she is before he even asked her to Dallas. Obviously he knew she was not dating when he asked her father so Tony himslef has been keeping tabs. Nice let down on Carrie for something he wanted to pursue. He left Carrie about the same time Jess & Mayer split. Tony spent a lot of time with daddy before Jess was in the pic. You think they talked Jess?? I bet they did. Lets just give these two some space & see if he travels to Kuwait & then a trip in Europe to keep testing the relationship away from all this crap.

Leave the acting/singing to those who have talent to do it. There are so many talented singers out there and it pisses me off to see no talents like the Simpson sisters, Paris, Heid and Cassie get record deal over them.

right on dmd. Carrie works as hard at her career as Tony works on his football. They grew up the same and rose from nowhere. They are really good friends. Jessica knows this. the story most likely is not true. Carrie doesn't comment on Jess and Tony's relationship but remains friends with Tony. And Carrie is a total superstar compared to when she dated Romo

You know Jessica is probably such a sweetheart and I don't mean to be disrespectful but it has to be difficult being around someone who is totally into herself. She seems to be a "me first" personality and I think she ought to be a little intimidated by Carrie, cuz I think as time goes Tony sees that he made a big mistake letting Carrie get away....I think he already sees it! I also think that Jessica has had the misfortune of a confusing upbringing by her parents. You know what they say about the "apple". As far as her country album, who knows. If she doesn't try to kill songs and distort her face while singing then maybe, but it is a long shot.
