Sibling Rivalry or Next Hollywood Cat Fight?

When it rains, it pours! Sources reveal Jessica Simpson and younger sister Ashleeare barely on speaking terms these days.

"There's been a lifelong rivalry," a source close to the Simpson family says. "You've got two driven young women, both clamoring for attention." The source tells Star that as they compete for the best look and hottest career, there's little sisterly love between them now.

They morphed into the same person when Ashlee got a nose job — and dyed her dark hair blonde — and now the formerly grunge girl looks an awful lot like her big sis. With her new look, "Ashlee is going head-to-head with her sister," the family source says.

"I think she feels her parents, especially her dad, Joe, have always favored Jessica, and she's sick of it."

Sources say Jessica is already livid over Ashlee's copycat look. And it's set to get worse because, another source reports, Ashlee may consider more surgery! "She'd love to have a pair of 'sit up and take notice' breasts, which is what Jess has," the source says.

In an effort to one-up her sister, Ashlee, who unlike Jess writes many of her own songs, "brags constantly about how she's a natural-born musician and Jess isn't," the source reports. "She's the first to let you know she's more talented!"

As for Jess, the source says she's tried to repair the rift, but a jealous Ashlee doesn't want to talk. "It's like Ashlee is holding a grudge against her sister," says the source. It's easy to see why!
