Major Movie Star Goes Straight to DVD

That sentence almost sounds like an oxymoron. But it should come as no surprise that Jessica Simpson’s latest movie, Major Movie Star, has hit a “minor” road bump: it won’t be appearing in theaters.

Yes, the #1 box office hit in Russia just isn’t a contender over here in the states. Guess theater bosses just couldn’t chance it, after Blonde Ambition only made $1300 before being shelved. But look on the bright side, Jess! The movie is opening in Bulgaria next month! Fingers crossed!
