John Mayer Dumped Jessica Simpson

We're sure that John Mayer had fun with Jessica Simpson while it lasted... which was literally probably one date. Last week, Us Weekly proclaimed they were dating, People magazine even went so far as to quote a Simpson pal as saying they were "in love" and this week, Us Weekly is reporting that John dumped Jessica!

I know what your thinking..."damn, that was quick" but come on now, really...who can stand dating her for an extended amount of time? Its so obvious this was just a plea for attention now that Nick has moved in with Vanessa in NY.

According to Us Weekly, Mayer has already dumped Simpson, because, insiders say, she and her pals are too loose-lipped for the reclusive Mayer. One person in the Mayer camp told said that the relationship "was a 2 [that] her camp spun into an 11 . . . [Mayer] thinks it's desperate . . . an attempt to stay in the spotlight." Ouch! Better luck next time Jess!
