Jessica Simpson Was Victim Of Abuse

Pop star gone country Jessica Simpson admitted in a shocking new interview that she was once a victim of abuse.

Jess tells the September issue of Elle magazine, "I don't want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run."

The confession came after the interviewer asked her about the lyrics in her new song 'Remember That,' in which she sings, "It doesn't matter how he hurts you / With his hands or with his words / You don't deserve it / It ain't worth it / Take your heart and run."

This is definitely new news to us, wonder who she could be singing about?

Nick should sue her to get her to admit that he didn't abuse her. You can't throw accusations like that around and refuse to say who you're talking about. Why? Because of the poster who assumed that it was Nick. I seriously doubt it was him and I'm glad that most people are seeing her comments for what they really are-an attempt at getting publicity. Based on her comment and refusal to say if it was physical abuse (all she had to do is say "yes," but she didn't) leads me to believe that it was just mental abuse. She probably thought that admitting that it wasn't physical abuse would not get a lot of sympathy for her. She's pathetic.

Cry for media attention because her album is due out next month. Why come out with this now? She's probably throwing the word around a little too lightly. I can't imagine Nick ever abusing her.. maybe John Mayer, but not Nick.

Who are we to say she wasn't abused? It could have been someone from her childhood. Verbal abuse can be just as devestating as physical abuse if it keeps happening. Just because she is rich and beautiful doesn't mean she doesn't face challenges in her life, bad things happen to rich and beautiful people too!
