Jessica Simpson graces the May cover of Esquire Magazine.

The shoot was a recreation of a cover that Virna Lisi did for the mag in 1965. She looks sexy. That hairstyle actually looks really good on her, unlike Lindsay Lohan who attempted to recreate Marilyn Manroe's The Last Sitting with that horrific blonde wig. Do you guys think Jessica's cover is sexy or perplexing?

Well "allie ham" she isn't the ONLY one re-doing things that are made up. If you choose to focus on her then that's up to you but i'm sure you are one of those people who loves talking shit about her.

I'm wondering who this is meant to appeal to. Are guys turned on by watching women shave - (I hate to say "our", eww) - their faces? I can't imagine a man finding this sexy at all. And i'm certainly not feeling empowered or that this represents a feminist perspective, as the original did. Every time Simpson re-does something, it is always a poor, poor copy. All she seems able to *do* is stuff that's already been done! Song covers, remaking movies... i hope somehow this girl's 15 minutes are up. She is just.... void.
