Jessica Simpson is defending herself—this time, without the help of her dad Joe! Jess is speaking out about rumors that she wasted thousands of dollars while on the USO tour in Kuwait. Some say she spent $16,000 having her hair and makeup people flown over to be with her. But Jess insists she didn't live in luxury.
She says, "I stayed in the barracks, wore flip-flops in the shower - I
roughed it like a soldier. It hurts. It takes away from why I'm there - just
to be able to sign stuff that soldiers can send home to their families. To
