Jessica Simpson Reveals the Sex of Her Baby

Through intense investigative reporting, we’ve determined the sex of Jessica Simpson’s baby to be one of two possibilities: girl or boy.

Wonder where I’m gonna hang my Pulitzer…

Anyway, even though she previously used a male pronoun in describing her baby, Jessica Simpson doesn’t really know her baby’s sex.

“I think it’s a girl,” Simpson said. “But I don’t know yet.”

It’s not exactly a tough thing to find out, but then again, this is the same chick who didn’t know what tuna was.

Her fiancé, Eric Johnson, disagreed with her prediction. “I think it’s a boy,” he said, adding, “We’re pretty much at a standstill there.”

Well the good news is, one of them is right.

“I don’t think we can wait,” Johnson says. “Jessica is too honest about everything, she needs to know. I don't think she can hold that secret to herself."

Do you know who Jessica Simpson is, Eric Johnson? This is the same woman who didn’t say sh-t about her pregnancy until she was ready to pop. I think the woman can handle keeping a secret.

No matter what the baby’s gender is, Jessica promises one thing: it’s going to be fashionable.

“If it’s a boy, I’ll put him in tutus!”

What is he, a Chihuahua?

And speaking of fashion, Jessica might not be able to see her feet right now, but that’s not keeping her from wearing heels.

"I'm probably going to deliver my baby in these (4-inch YSL heels)," she joked to Us Weekly. "I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, 'You're gonna need to get out of those heels!'"

And doctor’s orders or not, Jessica’s not listening.

"I was like, 'Excuse me! I'll be delivering in these heels!’”

And there’s no muumuus for this mom-to-be. “I like wearing things more fitted,” Simpson explained. “You want to show off your bump! It was just so fun. You don’t want to wear muumuus so you can moo around town.”

Simpson says she’s “definitely bigger than I’ve ever been,” but adds that she’s also “never felt so connected with my body in my life.”

She’s already got some motherly instincts, too.

"I can imagine my tummy glowing," she said. "I'm already like the cheesy mom that my kids are embarrassed by.”

Just wait till they discover the boxed set of Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
