Jessica Simpson isn’t a fan of Melrose Place. Prior to
Ashlee Simpson
getting fired from the CW show, Jess would help create buzz by updating her Twitter page. She would write things like, “Everyone watch my sis on melrose place tonight.”
But that’s all changed since Ashlee has gotten the boot from the show. Last night, Jessica wrote: "CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap? i have had bad scripts to work with,but this? thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."
According to
Us Weekly, the reason for Ashlee’s firing is simply because of her poor acting skills. On-set insiders tell the magazine, "They hired her because they needed a good name to help create buzz. But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible."

Well, guess getting fired pretty much seals the deal! But Ashlee isn’t letting the recent news get her down. Her husband Pete Wentz says she still wants to focus on acting for now. A source says, "She’s reading scripts. Acting is her focus now. If she had an album, she’d have to tour and be away from Bronx. She wants consistency.”
