Jessica Simpson has been accused of a lot of things throughout her career, but not being fat friendly is definitely a first.
Simpson is accused of "hurting millions of fat people in America" by banning the sale of a secret workout DVD. She filmed the fitness tape around the time she slimmed down for her role as Daisy Duke back in 2005, but she doesn't want that tape to see the light of day.
Despite signing a multi-million dollar contract, Simpson has reportedly banned the release of the tape. So what's next? A lengthy lawsuit of course! Speedfit owner Alex Astilean has now launched a lawsuit against her manager dad Papa Joe after failing to secure a $10 million settlement from Simpson last year.
Astilean says, "They are hurting millions of fat people in America." Simpson's reps tells PageSix, "It's a legal matter that's in the hands of attorneys."
It's a DVD people, it's not like she's the only celebrity to have ever made a workout DVD, I don't get the whole 'not fat friendly' claims. You want to lose weight? Go to the gym--plain and simple. The DVD owner should still sue Papa Joe though, I wonder if he can throw in an extra lawsuit for excessive creepiness?
