Jessica Simpson is at the Cannes Film Festival to announce her newest film project,
Major Movie Star. Earlier Friday, news about her
break-up with boyfriend John Mayer spread like wild fire.
Simpson however did not let her break-up affect her work. The starlet arrived at the Budweiser Select yacht in Cannes to help promote her new role. The military themed film will start shooting in July in Louisiana.
When asked about the split, Simpson replied:
"I am very happy, but I don't really want to talk about my personal life tonight because it's not what it's about. But I am very happy. I will let you know that."
On a side note, it seems like Jessica was sporting a lighter do. Now that she is not with John Mayer is she going back to blonde? Whatever the case is we hope she is lightening up the hair because brown definitely was not a great color for her.
