Jessica Simpson Has a New Man

Jessica Simpson wasn't kidding when she said 2010 was going to be her year. Her VH1 show 'Price of Beauty' got picked up for another season and she has a new man in her life.

Jess has been quietly dating former NFL star Eric Johnson and according to TMZ, “They are very happy.”

So what's the deal with her new man? Eric used to play for the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints. He split from his wife earlier this year and filed for divorce in February.

Jess has been super unlucky in love. Her ex Tony Romo dumped her on her birthday last year and she hasn't really dated anyone since.

When asked about the breakup she said, "What went wrong? You'd have to ask him that. He broke up with me on my birthday. We are still good friends."

We hope Jess has better luck this time around. We just hope she isn't his rebound.
