Jessica Simpson Goes Au Naturel for Marie Claire

Jessica Simpson has an entire show devoted to true beauty, so it only makes sense that she would skip the hours of hair and makeup and go au naturel for the new issue of
Marie Claire.

In the new issue Jess talks about not washing her hair, not caring about what people think, and much more. Check out some highlights from the interview:

On not fixing her hair: "I'll usually wash my hair and let it air-dry wavy, but if I'm just in a hang-out mood, I won't even wash it. I'll wait until it smells."

On not caring what people think of her: "I don't have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business."

On updos: "People think updos are so hard, but they're not. Your hair should look tousled and undone."

On going out hair: "If I'm in a mood to go out and feel hot and sexy, I want long hair that I can feel on my back. But I also like bed head."

Ken on Jess' natural look: "I think we hit a plateau of overproduced beauty where hair became too cartoonish. Now people want a more natural, achievable look," says Ken Paves, Simpson's hairstylist and best friend.
