Jessica Simpson must have already been mentally finished with her tour when she showed up to her final stop in Irvine California this weekend.
She opened for Rascal Flatts like she has been for the past few weeks, but her performance didn’t reflect one of someone who has been on the road for a while. Jess forgot the lyrics to not one, but two songs, leaving the audience disappointed, and even booing her!
First, she messed up the lyrics to Remember That, which was the song we told you about last week that has to do with abusive relationships.
She told the crowd, "Oops! I said whiskey too early! I messed up! I'm so embarrassed! But I'm starting over again because I really want you guys to hear the lyrics the right way."
Then Jess messed up the first line of the song Still Don’t Stop Me, and exclaimed, "I messed up again! I do this all the time!"
Not exactly something the crowd wants to hear after purchasing tickets to your show. Sources say some people even booed her, which she probably deserved.
But the mistakes didn’t seem to bother Jess, who kept telling the crowd how excited she was to be there. Guess that’s Jessica for ya!
