Jessica Simpson, it was a slow news week so she got tons and tons of criticism for putting on a little weight.
A slew of stars have already come to her defense, claiming the media coverage surrounding her new curves is "disgusting" and that her new body is "sexy" and that we should all leave her along. The list goes on...
Luckily, Jessica isn't sitting around crying any tears over her new curves. In fact, she's embracing them. You work it sista!
During a concert in Lexington, Kentucky Friday night, Jess told the crowd: "Because of my faith, I believe that I can conquer the world and all its opinions and ideas and all of its judgments," the 28-year-old singer said before launching into her tune "Pray Out Loud."
You know what they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity. Jess has gotten more press in the last week than she has in the last year combined.
Our prediction? Her dad Joe will put her on some super diet and exercise plan so she can shed the weight and he can sell the story to the highest bidder.
We can already see the magazine headline: "How Jessica slimmed down in no time: her diet secrets revealed inside." Typical Hollywood.
