Jessica Simpson has not hung up her professional aspirations for a full-time career in motherhood just yet.
The “Fashion Star” mentor has recently admitted that she is definitely going to put growing her brood of mini-mes on hold permanently moving forward. Two kids seems like the magic number.
“I really hope that it stops,” Jessica said on getting pregnant on Wednesday during an appearance on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. “Originally, I had wanted three. But now that I have one and another one on the way, I feel like I could stop here.”
The official announcement of Jessica’s baby making cutoff comes after a previous Seacrest appearance where she was quick to point out that her womb is anything but off limits to her football star fiancé Eric Johnson.
“I am definitely feeling ‘intimate,’” Jessica said in May 2012. “I’m kind of unstoppable at the moment! Like the big ‘O’ is like the biggest ‘O’ ever.”
The reasoning behind Jess’ decision to close up her fertility shop is not because of any havoc it’s causing in her $4 million Weight Watchers deal, but instead because her second pregnancy is proving more strenuous than her first time at bat.
“With Maxwell, I felt amazing. I could do everything, eat everything,” she said at a recent appearance on “Ellen.” “I had a lot of energy. This time around, I’m exhausted. Eating Tums — that’s my snack of choice.”
Jessica is expected to deliver baby number two around June. Listen to her Ryan Seacrest interview below:
