Jessica Simpson week. Here's a recap if you haven't been keeping up:
Jessica showed off some new curves during the 99.9 KIIS Country Chili Cook off in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her weight gave made headlines across the globe.
Her former trainer said he thinks she looks "sexy" and "healthy." Her sister Ashlee came to her defense saying she's "completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister's weight" and claims her sister is still a size 2. Uh...more like size 2 times 4.
After staying mum for a few days, Jess is finally responding to the reports of her weight gain.
"I'm not fat," Jess confessed to a pal. "Going from a size 2 to a size 8, that's not fat. If I weren't Jessica Simpson, no one would care."
She's right about one thing, if she wasn't Jessica Simpson, we wouldn't care. But that's the whole point. The media questions celebrities when they lose too much weight and criticizes them when the gain a few pounds.
