Jessica And Tony To Duet?

This is just so silly I had to mention it. There are rumors going around stating that Jessica Simpson wants to do a duet with her boyfriend Tony Romo on her new country album. Please tell me this is not true!

A source apparently told the Enquirer, "Jessica has been schooled in publicity tricks by her manager dad, Joe, and she knows that a duet with Tony will attract major attention."

After the bad publicity Jessica received by going to Tony's football game, I sorta doubt these two will even be spotted out together in the public for a while. Let's just say there's going to be a lot of movie nights at home.

How do you know it's a rumor? When I heard he was on vacation a week before a big game, I thought that was a rumor too. Until I saw him sitting poolside. Her stupidity has obviously rubbed off on him. They might think they can be the next Jay Z & Beyonce or Kenny & Dolly. Who knows?

Just because you haven't seen their photos lately, doesn't mean their relationship is a hoax. THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS GENUINE!!! Pls put this inside your thick skull and stop bullshitting about PR and hoax. There are several sightings of them in Dallas, just no photos cos there are no paparazzi here. I think it's better if she stays here for a while, away from the glitz of Los Angeles and keep her relationship with Tony more low-key.

This is not true. Jessica and Tony did have their own song, which they write their own lyrics, proclaiming their love for each other BUT it's only between the two of them, just for fun and something private. She has no intention at all to record a duet with him. Tony is not a singer, he will only focus on football and she will never use him for publicity.

After her divorce, she has become an amazing cook and improved a lot by living on her own. Ok she might not be a great actress, but at least she's not a mess like Britney or Lindsay. Her daddy might be a little overprotective, but you know he would put his boot in her ass if she acted like those two. Sandra, her last album has NO quality, that's why the music experts criticized it. Plus, she lost manyyyy fans after she divorced Nick so that was a huge factor to her Public Affair album's failure. But u know what I respect about her? Her determination and positive outlook on life that keeps her going. She says she doesn't want to be known only as a "reality-show star" or a "sex-bomb" or just a "tabloid star". She's willing to work hard and put in a lot of effort just to prove how serious she is in this business. I believe God is always fair, and as long as she's sincere in achieving her goals, she will embrace her well-deserved recognition one day.

Disgusted ,this is show "business". It's all about $$$$$. Record execs could care less about her positive outlook. They want numbers. Her competition is fierce and if this country album does not do well I'm sure she will be let go from her label. Acting isn't happening for her. If you look at her career the only thing that has worked out has been reality show star. A pretty face will only get you so far. You have to have talent to back it up because other singers are at the top of their game. She's going through the same thing JLo is going through. Her movies have bombed and her album only sold 50,000 units the first week. I read in a trade mag, that they are going to do a greatest hits cd and that's it. No more new releases for her.

Sandra, I agree that acting doesn't work for her. I never support her decision to try acting. I only have confidence in her music career. If you listen to music industry insiders, majority say her crossover to country music is a VERY wise decision. So now, it's only up to her to put in effort to make a great album. The girl CAN sing, I've heard her sing "properly" and she sounded fantastic. Only each time when she uses that annoying breathy tone, it spoils the whole song. She needs to stop using that. I'm not saying that her vocals is as good as Mariah Carey. There are lots of female singers who aren't in the same league as Mariah BUT they sing properly and still manage to put out amazing albums. I will categorize Jessica's vocals in the same league as Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines.
