Although, the rumor mill has been running wild over the Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook hook up. Dane's brother tells Star Magazine, that the rumored romance between the "Employee of the Month" co-stars are untrue.
Dane's brother Darryl McCauley said "They seemed to hit it off. As far as anything beyond that, it's nothing more than hyperbole. They're friends." In regards to them dating, Daryl said: "Those are all frivolous claims. There's no such thing as bad press. It's certainly keeping his name out there. We all get a pretty big kick out of it." Darryl also quashes whispers of even a crush between the Dane and Jessica: "They were co-stars on the movie and the set was very light and funny — a lot of laughs. No crushes.”
In the meantime, Jessica seems to be finding some comfort with an older man, her father. I think Joe Simpson is a perv and has a sick admiration for his daughter.
Where is Nick Lachey in all this drama? Nick is promoting his new album all over the country and trying to figure out "What’s Left of Him". We are positive he is getting it on with some Z-list slut who wants to get some publicity. Poor guy just gets used and abused.
