According to the New York Post, Jess was spotted flirting with Gerard Tuesday night at the Soho House in NYC--but unfortunately, they weren't alone.
Jess' good pal and hairstylist Ken Paves was by her side (when isn't he?)
but onlookers say aside from a little flirting, there wasn't much else going on.
"I'm never surprised to hear that Gerard is with someone new. None of those relationships last," the source tells People.
"Certainly he's not planning on settling down with Jessica Simpson … Gerard plays the field … and Jessica is lonely … and she lost weight and is looking good."
