“Jessica is very pretty and feminine, but she didn’t want this to be over-the-top frilly,” the British-born designer told People Magazine.
“The words she used were ‘gypsy’ and ‘bohemian,’ so we brought in lavenders and mauves with a bit of pink and aqua.”
On Tuesday, the new mom tweeted, “I am so in love with baby Maxwell,” she wrote. “I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced.”

Apparently they’ve ran out of diet shakes, sneakers and alcohol, because Khloe and her hubby Lamar are now doing adds for Pistachios. To be fair, those are some classy nut ads. But still, it’s a commercial for a nut.

“I just woke up from a dream that I wore a leopard caftan in the hospital. Fabulous!!" Jessica Simpson tweeted on April 24. "Now I need to find one!"
Now that the baby is four days old (and dangerously close to becoming old news), you can rest easy, Jessica found the perfect caftan in time.
“She did find one online…it wasn’t quite leopard but it was a gorgeous pattern,” a close source told Hollyscoop.
The songstress popped the baby out around 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning and barely 10 hours after giving birth, Jessica is tweeting up a storm about “Fashion Star?”

She was a normal celebrity baby at 9 lbs. 13 oz., born Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles in a deluxe maternity suite that probably cost more than your first car.

Now, just hours after Jessica and husband Eric Johnson welcomed 9 pound, 13 ounce Maxwell Drew into the world, Jessica’s sister Ashlee is already bubbling with affection for her niece.

Jessica and several members of her family including her mother Tina, sister Ashlee, and Eric Johnson’s parents were all snapped arriving at an L.A. area hospital this morning and now Us Weekly is reporting that Jessica Simpson has given birth to a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson.
