The REAL Reason Jessica Alba Dumped Cash

Last week single men across the globe all rejoiced over reports that Jessica Alba had dumped her longtime beau Cash Warren. Although sources said that Alba broke up with him because 'she wasn't in love with him anymore,' friends of the couple are singing a different tune.

So what's the real reason behind the split? "He wasn't ready for marriage, and Jessica is," says an insider.

"It's simple as that. It's kind of cold that the press is saying she was just finished with him, because it isn't like that."

A week before the split Alba and Cash had attended pal Eva Longoria's fairytale wedding in Paris, which probably didn't help the situation.

"Seeing Eva get married made Jessica wistful," says the friend. "That was the reason Jessica seemed to be in a terrible mood in Paris."

Hey if Cash doesn't want to marry her I personally have about 27 male friends that would give up their right arm for the chance to snag up Alba. Hope he comes to his senses!

maybe he wants a girl with brains. sure she's hot but she's also uneducated. when a guy has everything (money, status, material shit), he wants someone to stimulate his mind - not just his penis.

That mahy be true on forcing someone to marry you, Zip, but in reality, if that's what you really want out of life you have to find someone w/those same goals you have. Why waste time hoping and praying a person's going to change their mind 3 years down the road on that? Make a clean break and find someone that better matches you, I say. And you still have to remember, as all here do, that we are not privy to the actual situation and haven't heard anything official from her on it so this is still just rumors.

He did the right thing!!! You don't force someone to marry you, that isn't love. True love is about respect for someone else and allowing them choice in their life. In the Bible...God refers to it as Freedom Of Will. True love is about freedom...not holding someone you claim to love, hostage and as a slave. If they want to be a slave to you, that's fine...but it should always be their choice, not yours. Jessica will realize that years from now...but right now, her young age is speaking to her, not common sense...and certainly not wisdom!!!

every relationship has issues. there may be things about alba that he knows and we dont, which would make one hesitate on agreeing to spend the rest of their life with her. i think shes cute as hell but there are things that come out of her mouth that i dont like.

They are 26-ish..which isn't too young to get married. I guess it's not too old either..but, still. He needs a bang in the head

Cash is the Director's Assistant which, I've always assumed is basically getting coffee for the director of the FF4 movies he's worked on. The thing I can't figure out is why the guy'd be dumb enough to avoid the issue if this is really what she wants. They've been together way over a year so what the heck's his problem? He's got one of the hottest women on the planet wanting to settle down w/him (if this is true) and he's getting cold feet? Maybe he needs to stick his finger back in the light socket to make sure he's not dreaming or something and THEN decide?

While again, I hesitate believing any of these things until something comes directly from her, to me this seems a lot more believable than the nonsense reported around here and overall initially about cheating etc. But, this guy has to have a tumor the size of freakin' Texas in his brain if he actually takes time to contemplate whether this is a good move or not to marry her. Is he eyeing dating Paris or Britney or something? You can put up w/the pa-pa and premieres, CW, do the right thing and man up if that's what she really wants.
