Alert an ambulance: The hottest, sexiest, most gorgeous actress Jessica Alba almost had a stroke, except not really.
The 31-year-old actress says she had a brush with a possible "brain attack" when she woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't feel her arm.
"Basically I thought I was having a stroke last week," Jessica tells Jimmy Kimmel on his late night talk show. "I really, really thought I was. It was 2:30 in the morning and I woke up and my hand started to go numb."
"The whole entire thing went numb. It was dead, I couldn't move it. My whole arm went numb, I got cold sensations in the back of my neck to the front. I can't move my face."
Because she was presumably sleeping on a bed of money at the time, instead of just typing "am I dying?" into WebMD like the rest of us, Jessica rushed her nervous self straight over to the hospital for a CAT scan and MRI, just to be on the safer side. Apparently she had done a quick Internet search and the more extreme and neurotic side of Google caused her to think this was more than just her arm falling asleep.
With nowhere else to turn because she like, physically couldn't and stuff, Jessica texted her kids' pediatrician, the only doctor who would answer her call for help at the zero dark thirty hour. "I texted him," Jessica said, "and I said, 'I have these symptoms. …It's all going downhill!'"
Aside from the doctor telling her that she was "a little young for this…" while handing her a cherry-flavored lollipop, probably, the fact that Jessica was even able to text him in the first place is confusing.
She ended up getting the final diagnosis and learned it was just a case of super sexy carpal tunnel instead.
It may have been a slight overreaction, but when it comes to a world without Jessica Alba, there's no such thing. Better safe than sorry!
