Hollyscoop caught up with soon-to-be mother of two at the Spy Kids press junket, and she told us she’s enjoying every bit of it:
“I like getting older. I like who I am now,” Alba told HS.
“I had so much bizarre inner turmoil, weird stuff in my head, questioning things, trying to find my way, navigate with acting and myself as a person, a woman. All that stuff is behind me. I’m so happy and I can just breathe and be.”
So how does the actress keep it together nowadays?
“I definitely have help for sure. You try and surround yourself with great people that are supportive and loving. I definitely don’t balance it all very well. I feel like there’s something I’m always compromising, but I try the best I can.”
But when we asked her if there was any part of her past she’d want to relive, Alba listed finding love and giving birth:
“Falling in love is always fun. Having my daughter again. The physical pain is nothing like the joy.”
It looks like being a wife and mother is working well for Jessica. She stars in the upcoming movie, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D. The film will be released August 19.
