Jessica Alba gives birth to her second daughter this weekend!
“Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren. She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long,” Alba announced on her facebook page, “Health and happy! Big sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family.”
Currently Jessica can be seen on the big screen in the new “Spy Kids 4D” and Hollyscoop caught up with her recently at the press junket where Alba revealed that if she could relive any part of her past it be finding love and having a baby.
“Falling in love is always fun. Having my daughter again. The physical pain is nothing like the joy,” says Alba.
Looks like she got her wish, new baby Haven is joining big sister Honor, 3.
The Alba brood thanks their fans for their well wishes in the facebook post, “Thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy. It means the world to me."
What would we do before twitter and facebook statuses to find out about birth announcements? Like seriously, paparazzi had to work overtime before twitter.
Alba recently blogged about having her second child, “The idea of loving someone as much as I love Honor is something I haven’t wrapped my head around yet, but I know I will and I can’t wait.”
Another something Alba mentions about having another baby is how to balance work and being a mother. Alba also told Hollyscoop that Spy Kids director Robert Rodriquez gave her some tips on how to balance parenthood and motherhood.
"Robert gave me quite a few pep talks about going back to work and finding balance, figuring it out. [Robert’s] a father of five, he’s done most of the incredible things in his career as a working father. He definitely encouraged me to go back to work and do it in a way that I felt good about being there,” says Alba.
It looks like Alba is serious about getting back to work and told E! Online that this might be the last child for the couple, “I really can’t imagine having more than this – more that what’s happening right now,” Alba said. “Kids are a lot of work and at the end of a pregnancy, its sort of like you can’t really imagine having more. But we’ll see.”
