Jessica Alba has taken responsibility for her actions earlier this week! Jessica has issued an apology to Oklahoma City for
defacing areas in town with giant posters of great white sharks.
Her intention was to bring awareness to community about the fact that great whites are going extinct. But the posters ended up being more of a nuisance than anything else. It landed Jess on United Way’s bad side, for covering up one of their billboards, which they now have to pay out of pocket to replace.
Jessica wrote in a statement:
"I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident."
We’re glad she apologized, but we hope that doesn’t mean her involvement in the charity is over. We just hope she rethinks the way she gets the word out there.
