Jennifer Garner and Jessica Alba: Love Changes After Kids

Jennifer Garner and Jessica Alba are two shining examples that love than actually happen in Hollywood. Both women are married with children, a feat that’s becoming more and more rare amongst celebrities who tend to jump from one relationship to the next.

But both Jen and Jess seem to have found what it’s like to be really happy in love. They’re a part of the star-studded ensemble cast of the upcoming movie Valentines Day, and talked with Hollyscoop at the press conference over the weekend about how they keep their relationships alive.

Jessica seems to think she and hubby Cash Warren worked out because they were buddies before anything else. “I married by best friend for sure,” she told Hollyscoop. Jennifer, on the other hand, just went with the flow. “Somewhere around the second kid,” she joked, “I thought, ‘This is going somewhere.’”

But Garner and her husband Ben Affleck have learned to adjust since having their two girls Violet and Serafina. Jen told us, “You change the definition of romance. In addition romance can just be breakfast over the tops of your kids’ heads. Getting through the day you gotta make that be romantic.”

When it comes time to bring sexy back for Jessica, she says it’s tough to keep her eyes open by the end of the day, which comes when little Honor goes to bed. She said, “Mine goes to bed at 7, but I’m usually too tired.”

But that doesn’t mean all the romance is lost because she and Cash are parents. “We’re pretty spontaneous,” Jess explained. “We try to squeeze in a smooch here and there, or a little card to say ‘I love you’.”

Both women agreed on the fact that communication is key in any relationship, whether it’s in the beginning stages, or if you’re parents of three. We’d say both Jen and Jess hit the jackpot with the guys they married, and they’re proof that love is possible in Hollywood!
