'Jersey Shore' Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Hit With Assault Complaint

So, there was a bar fight on the Jersey Shore. Again? Still? We don’t know, that’s kind of a long running question at this point isn’t it?

What we do know is that this particular incident happened on June 9 at the Seaside, NJ nightclub Bamboo Bar, and involved Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and some guy named Justin Viterito.

E! News has obtained copies of the paperwork that Viterito filed in Seaside Heights, N.J., Municipal Court against Ortiz-Magro.

And maybe in an attempt to make the network responsible, the complaint names both MTV and its parent company Viacom as defendants.

The gist of the matter breaks down like any and all bar fights ever: a Shore dude apparently shoved one of Viterito’s friends, who then moved in to investigate and in the process got hit in the eye, by a fist, that just so happened to be attached to an arm, that belonged to Ronnie.

He is now scheduled to appear at a court hearing on July 3… and hopefully that won’t bring his party down on the Fourth of July.

This is also the scuffle responsible for the ankle injury that’s forced Jenni "JWoww" Farley to commute to and fro via crutches and power chair. If you haven’t seen the pics, Google it. They’re priceless.

But seriously, it’s kind of nice to see one of the third string cast members getting some press, right? I mean Snooki kind of stole the limelight with her baby bump, The Situation had that whole rehab thing, Pauly D has his DJ thing...

You go Ronnie, work your way to the top of the bottom, one misfired punch at a time.
