Jersey Shore Cast Banned from Drinking

Hold onto your hats people, because the second season of Jersey Shore is going to be….not as good as season one. Not only is the show moving away from its namesake and relocating to South Beach Miami, but now the cast is being banned from drinking.

According to Fox News, MTV bosses have requested that the cast members lay off the booze so they don’t completely tarnish their reputations.

A source said that Jwoww made an appearance at the Estate in Boston over the weekend, but didn’t touch the booze because “MTV doesn’t want [the cast] to drink.”

We’re not sure the MYV bosses realize that the whole reason we watch Jersey Shore is to see them get drunk, fist pump, and then hopefully get into multiple fist fights!

Sadly taking the booze out of the equation would probably lessen all three of those actions, and we’d be stuck watch them G-T-L every week, which would get a little mundane.

We understand the network wanting them composed when making appearances, but the ban must be lifted once season two commences!
