Italian Americans Angered Over Jersey Shore
December 9, 2009 by: BRIDGET DALY

The topic was discussed this morning on the Today Show, and now a major advertiser of the show is even pulling out. Dominos has already made the decision to pull their ads.
The president of the Italian-American association Andre Dimino told the Today Show, “The other advertisers should do the same thing. They should be responsible to not promote this attack on Italian-Americans. “
He went on to say, “It’s a disgrace. It’s grating on me. With the Sopranos, it’s either Mafioso, or this we’re bimbos and baffoons.”
MTV stands by their new series, saying, “We understand that this show is not intended for every audience and depicts just one aspect of youth culture. Our intention was never to stereotype, discriminate, or offend.”
