Jenny McCarthy's sex kitten status has stood the test of time, and she's still as hot now as she was in those Candies magazine ads in the 90s. Hollyscoop caught up with the actress to talk love and work.
"I'm single," McCarthy revealed to Hollyscoop at the World Series of Boxing Presents LA Matadors Vs Astana Arlans event. So we asked Jenny what she likes in a guy, and the actress told us: "Just a nice guy, you know?"
Which seems easy enough to find, since dudes are always complaining that they're so nice and women don't like them because women like bad guys, and they're just so nice.
But it's harder to find a nice guy than it looks, according to McCarthy.
"I mean, I don't know. It's so hard out here [in L.A.]. The guys are like chicks out here," she told Hollyscoop.
Not digging all the manscaping, I suppose. But despite the girlification of all the straight men in Hollywood, Jenny's not giving up:
"There's no real guy guys, so maybe importing from somewhere will be smart," Jenny continues. "Anyone not from L.A. I think."
Jenny McCarthy has yet another book coming out, and with the success of her others, it's got to have her on top of the world. She described to Hollyscoop what we can expect:
"I'm always really real and raw in my books and this one…I'm almost too much, like I'm afraid for my mom to read it."
So, there may be some confessions.
"It's called Sinner, so it goes through the chronological events of my youth until now of all the not so good things that I've gone through," McCarthy tells Hollyscoop. "But it's funny, it still kind of fits with the theme of the other books."
Sinner: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic is the full title of Jenny's book. She previously wrote a successful series of pregnancy books called Belly Laughs, and her informative book, Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism won praise from fans and professionals alike. In total, McCarthy has written eight books. She's just as much a full-blown author as she is an actress.
McCarthy was recently reported to have a show in the works with Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, but over the summer the deal fell through. But Jenny doesn't harbor any hard feelings.
"I'm going…to Rosie [O'Donnell]'s show so I'm going to visit everyone and see how they're doing and send them my love," McCarthy told Hollyscoop.
