Jenny McCarthy and Brian Urlacher, the adult equivalent of the stereotypical head cheerleader—quarterback relationship, did not last long enough to have a bunch of kids and settle down in the ‘burbs.
In a statement to Hollyscoop, non-aging class act McCarthy said: "Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship. I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!"
That’s extremely similar to the party line she took when confirming the short-lived relationship to the press back in May, stating “I can confirm that yes, it’s true, we are dating. Go Bears—that’s all I’ll say.”
As facetious as all of that sounds, it’s believable considering that the pair had only been dating for a few months. And it’s much, much nicer than what Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa said about him, and they’re still married, somehow:
“I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can’t win championships," she told New York Magazine.
"If you’re sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year.”
Maybe that’s why she filed for divorce back in December, perhaps reconsidering when she realized that even though Kobe hasn’t won a championship since 2010, she’s simply never done anything worthy of note but marry Kobe Bryant.
Jenny McCarthy, on the other hand, just made the cover of Playboy’s July/August issue, is a vocal activist and a working actress. In an interview with Hollyscoop at the CK One Color Music Lounge, McCarthy did have some very kind words about Chicago, where she and her son moved when she started dating Urlacher:
"Coming back home...is the best decision I ever made. I missed real people. Everyone has a bigger purpose than their career living out in Chicago...so far it's the best thing I've ever done."
She also just claimed yesterday on the Kelly Ripa show that she was in love with Brian in between talking up her new reality show, Love in the Wild, but I guess she was just trying to keep focus on her new project. And she also just moved to Chicago to be closer to Brian. Ahem. Not everyone’s perfect all the time, I suppose?
