Born on November 1, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois, Jenny McCarthy jumpstarted her career modeling for Playboy in 1993. After being crowned Playboy’s Playmate of the Year in 1994, Jenny got her big break when she became the co-host of the MTV dating series Singled Out (1995-1997).
Also during this time, Jenny made her official acting debut in the short-lived TV series Mr. Show with Bob and David (1995) before gaining celebrity status for her role as April Morella in Baywatch (1996).
Jenny’s compelling presence and witty personality ultimately resulted in her own TV series Jenny (1997-1998).
After showing off her lung capacity in Scream 3 (2000), Jenny returned to her comedic roots with memorable performances in such films as BASEketball (1998), Scary Movie 3 (2003) and John Tucker Must Die (2006).
The following year, Jenny landed a reoccurring role as Courtney in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men (2007-2011).
