Jennifer Lopez's pregnancy was easily the worst kept secret in Hollywood, and the fact that she's having twins comes in a close second. Well the cat is finally out of the bag because J.Lo's dad just confirmed that his daughter is having twins.
Her father David told Latino show Escándalo TV that the rumors were true, saying:
"Yes, twins. The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it's a hereditary thing. I'm very proud. Jennifer has yearned to be a mother for many years."
David has already been busy buying gifts for his grandkids. He added, "In Puerto Rico it's custom to buy an azabache [black stone] bracelet for babies to protect them from the evil eye. It's part of our culture."
I can see Lopez going nuts on him for talking to the press. Actually, scratch that, I can see Marc going ape shit on him. Either way the cat is out of the bag and we all knew she was having twins for months now.
Lopez is expected to check into New York's North Shore University Medical Center, in Manhasset, to give birth (
in couture) via Caesarean section on February 14.
