J.Lo Gets Threatened - Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez has been the target for animal activists for years and now one activist is just going a little too far. According to the NYDN one activist has gone so far as threatening 'to kill her in public, just like the slaughtered animals whose fur she wears."

Her hubby Marc Anthony isn't taking the threats lightly. "He has hired two off-duty police officers, in addition to her usual security team, to watch over Lopez whenever she makes public appearances," says a pal.

A rep for PETA said yesterday: "All violence is wrong. But J.Lo needs to stop the real violence she promotes and subsidizes rather than give herself extra protection she doesn't need."

Oh I just refrain myself from those videos. Everyone has the right to do some things as simple as dressing up, and fur isn't against the law, it has even been promoted in several designer brand launches. It's so pathetic, just because some crazy person hates the idea of skinning animals, does not give him/her the right to say somebody else can't- we're all subjected to our opinions, so if I wanna wear fur, sure I WILL.

So stop violence with violence???? I am vegeatrian and totally do my part, having said that, What Kind of mentality is it to stop the slaughtering with animals by getting violent or threatening? I wish they had more class with their approach, I feel they would be respected more. Its unfortunate because if Peta wasnt so 'inhumane' they would probally get a better result.

i just dont understand why she or anyone else has to wear fur.. in my opinion shes/they are heartless bitches because they know dam well how the're fur coats were made and all the bullshit and torture that animals had to go thru for her to look like a fat fuckin bear bitch in fur.. it doesnt even look nice on ppl and theres no excuse.. the sad thing is others support her and ppl like the olsens or beyonce who are constantly seen wearing fur.. and about the threat.. trust me theres a better chance of JHO herself killing another human being cuz she isnt fazed at all by the thought of animals being skinned alive just for clothing than it is for an animal rights supporter doing anything violent.. ppl who support animals are compassionate and not selfish greedy or violent in any way

Peta does go too far. The problem is they think they have the right to impose their beliefs on everybody else.If Jennifer chooses to wear the fur, that is her decision, not Peta's.

I could tell all of you how I feel about your comments and point out all the crap but go see for yourself. Go see the dog/cat fur trade in China at Heather Mills website, and see what they do to your best friends and then come back and say fur is ok. (FOR THOSE THAT WON'T GO, THEY SKIN DOGS ALIVE AND THROW CATS INTO BOILING VATS OF WATER) This was on Larry King live and it horrified those that watched it. Our ignorance lead to this and people like J.Lo reign surpreme. Hell's not that hot anyway. Oh, i just can't stop.......the next time you buy one of those little trinkets at the convenience store, you know, the ones that look and feel like real cats, well, they are. Enjoy!

Oh god...What's wrong with wearing fur anyway? These animals are still going to die whether J.Lo wears it or not. And we look better in thick and puffy chamagne-brown fur during winter and so on...It's like so pathetic threatening people. If you don't like the idea, don't wear fur and shut up, why stop others? No death threat should be taken lightly. This is why I believe PETA should be done away with. They are a violent organization and all they do is promote violence to humans. I don't promote animial violence but there is no excuse for human violence. PETA should stop their violence towards humans.

Jennifer Lopez is no doubt one of the most famous and gorgeous women in the world.In my opinion she looks stunning wearing with or without fur.It's all up to her but posing death threat is just WRONG.She's not the only one wearing fur out there.
