V Magazine has a way of bringing out their cover models. When Justin Bieber covered the mag a few months ago, they dressed him up in fishnet t-shirts and made him pout like Miley Cyrus in the Vanity Fair shoot from 2008. It's awesome.

Anyways, Jennifer Lopez appears on the cover of the March issue of V magazine, dressed as a lady boxer.

She’s wearing boxing gloves, men’s groin protectors and a ripped Emporio Armani tank that reveals some bottom boob. Bottom boob is like side-boob, except it’s the bottom. Get it? Basically, she's a knockout.

J.Lo says dressing up like a boxer was not a stretch for her to play, I mean, she IS Jenny from tha block.

“I’ve always felt like a tough girl from the Bronx, but I have a soft core,” says Lopez, “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I’ve been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds.”

What is she talking about? Who is beating her up? Why would she need to go 15 rounds? Uhh, celebrities, I can’t deal.

Anyways, it was J.Lo’s idea to wear the men’s groin protector, “I thought it was more graphic,” says J.L, “It did make me feel tougher.”

As for J.Lo’s recent resurgence in fame, she’s just taking it all in stride.

“You’re not going to hit the target or the bull’s-eye every time. That’s part of it,” Lopez says, “At the end of the day, I made those choices. I’ve been in the business now, I don’t want to say how many years. You have amazing moments of recognition and success. But at this point in my life, I try to take it all with a grain of salt.”
