Jennifer Lopez's Manager on Why She Can't Have a 'Meaningful Relationship'

Jennifer Lopez made headlines went she moved on to backup dancer Casper Smart not long after announcing her divorce to Marc Anthony.

The public cringed, not only because she doesn’t exactly have the best history with backup dancers, but also because he's eighteen years her junior.

“The thing that I always sort of wished is that she would give herself time to just naturally meet someone, instead of having obsessive guys pursue her,” Benny Medina, Lopez's manager and business partner said. The two have been partners for several years.

Medina added that hooking up with "obsessive guys" shouldn't turn into a relationship.

"The ease with which that obsession becomes a relationship I think sometimes works against her ability to have a real meaningful relationship. And she never half does anything. When she commits to anything in her work, her life, or her relationships, she is in it.”

Good for Casper, maybe not so good for J.Lo. But then again, she makes divorce look like a damn good time, so who are we to judge?

Medina also revealed that he had a sit down chat with Jennifer about her much younger boyfriend. Medina is also the godfather to Lopez's twins, by the way.

“She was just like, ‘It’s not even the age, Benny. It’s actually that I just came out of a relationship where I felt like I was kind of not getting what I needed. And I’m open! So somebody who steps in right now and is actually touching me in a way – it’s very fertile ground!’”

So basically, it could've been anyone. The other backup dancers are kicking themselves right now.
