The singer describes her judging style in the first few days on the show as “tough and fair,” adding: “I really want to put them through the wringer in the sense that I don't want to let anybody really great go because they're nervous or whatever and not get to see what they could've been.”
But Jennifer says the judges are working more with the contestants this season so that nerves don’t take over and they’re sent home. "We’re working with them a little more than maybe you’ve seen in the past,” she said. “We give them more of a chance.”
Lopez says she’s looking for someone who has the whole package, and that includes style too. She said: “It's definitely part of a package when you're going to be an artist, but I can't tell you what that would be because it's a very personal, individual thing,” she explained.
J. Lo knows what it is to be the triple threat, so we think it’s great that she wants to see that in her Idol hopefuls!
