Livin' the dream.
If Jennifer Lopez is supposed to be a grieving divorcee, it's news to her. The pop star has been living it up since announcing her split from Marc Anthony. The pair parted ways amid rumors of Anthony's cheating, but J.Lo isn't letting it get her down.
Lopez spent an unconventional Thanksgiving in Kauai, Hawaii with her 24 year-old backup dancer, Casper Smart. And after sipping Mai Tais, the two returned to California only to jet off again.
The American Idol judge and her new boy toy took a private jet from Van Nuys to Morocco. J.Lo is performing for the country's royal family at the opening of a high-end mall in Casablanca. It's called "Morocco Mall." Not real original, but who cares, J.Lo is performing.
Lopez's children, Max and Emme, will remain in Los Angeles with Lopez's mother, Guadalupe, while she's working in Morocco.
The singer is expected to travel to South America after her Morocco trip so she can start filming her reality show Q'Viva! The Chosen. It's a project she's co-producing along with Anthony. Awkwaaard.
Things might be getting serious between Lopez and Smart. The dancer has reportedly already met her kids. Might as well meet the guy mommy is grinding with onstage.
After coming out of a dance studio in Los Angeles, Smart was spotted with J.Lo and her two little ones. The kids also accompanied Lopez and Smart on vacation in Hawaii. A source says that Smart was “having a great time and did flips with little Emme while an adoring JLO and little Max looked on with glee.”
Lopez recently told Ryan Seacrest that she wasn't planning on sharing details about her romantic relationships until things got really serious.
“Until I'm in a really serious relationship -- because of the babies -- I'm not really gonna be commenting on my personal life," Lopez said.
It might be time to start talking, because Smart has also reportedly met the singer's family.
Seacrest asked Lopez if she's been doing a lot of dating.
"I'm a busy girl," Jennifer said. "I don’t have time for all that."
But a source confirms to People: " "Yes, they are dating and having a good time. They've been getting more open with their flirting for weeks."
The source added that the relationship was just a "fun fling" that's "not meant to turn into anything more."
