Jennifer Lopez is pissing off her record label because she is way too expensive to take care of and doesn’t really make any money for the label.
“She costs too much money and doesn’t sell enough,” says a source. “Her last album cover alone cost $60,000 in hair and makeup, lighting, photographers, re-touching, etc. The video budget was in the neighborhood of $300,000.”
That’s only for the album, then she has the performances promoting the album such as appearances on “Good Morning America.”
“Epic had to eat the cost for that entire performance. From her makeup — which typically costs in the neighborhood of $8,000 per day — to the backup singers, to the rigging, lighting and sound.”
Lopez’s album “Brave” didn’t even hit the top 10 Billboard’s charts and it sold a measly 53,000 copies the first week it was released in October. Needless to say, her label is really not making money on Lopez.
On a side note, her makeup costs $8000 a day? Is her eye shadow made out of gold? That’s just ridiculous!!
