Everyone has their price, so how much can you actually buy J.Lo for? A Russian billionaire dipped into his very deep pockets and gave Jennifer Lopez $2 million to perform at a joint birthday party for himself and his wife on Saturday night.
Lopez sang for a total of 40-minute’s including her song "Jenny From the Block." It cost him $800,000 to fly her out including her entourage and put them up at the Mandarin Oriental in London. It cost 35-year-old Andrei Melnichenko $1.2 million for her to actually sing.
"I can confirm that a very high-profile American singer performed at a private party in Surrey," Melnichenko's spokesman said.
So who is Andrei Melnichenko? The Russian is worth $5 Billion dollars and has made his fortune by founding MDM Bank. Naturally, this billionaire married a formel model, Aleksandra Nikolic. The two married in 2005 in the south of France and had Christina Aguilera sing for $4 million dollars.
