At the age of 15, Lopez and David Cruz began dating and didn't break up until 10 years later.

February 1997 - January 1998

Lopez first met Cuban-born Ojani Noa when he was waiting tables in Miami and she was filming Blood and Wine. They married quickly, and in result, divorced even faster. They continued to be friends and Lopez even hired him as manager of her Pasadena restaurant Madre's in 2002. She later fired him over his attempts to disclose their relationship in a film and book.

September 1999 - February 2001

Lopez' most controversial relationship to date was with rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was known as a "bad boy." Their romance was going strong until the two went to a New York nightclub and Diddy's entourage got in fight that ended in gunplay. Both Diddy and Lopez were apart of the investigation, but Lopez' charges were later dropped. She stayed with him throughout the court process, but their relationship failed to prevail.

Although still married to Cris Judd, rumors that Lopez and Ben Affleck were hooking up began to stir while the two were filming the box office failure Gigli in late 2001. They never tried to hide it and officially became a couple in 2002, three days after her divorce from Judd went through. In November of that year, Ben popped the question and the couple was close to getting married in September 2003, but canceled at the last minute. They officially broke up in January 2004.

February 2004 - July 2011

Three weeks after breaking up with Ben, Lopez and Marc Anthony began dating after recording a duet together.
