Jennifer Lawrence is on a fat crusade.
Perhaps because interviewers are ONLY asking her about her weight and body image or perhaps because she feels really passionate about the subject, but Jen just decided that it should be illegal to call someone fat on TV.
“And the word fat! I just think it should be illegal to call somebody fat on TV,” Jen told Barbara Walters for her "10 Most Fascinating People of 2013" special. “If we're regulating cigarettes and sex and cuss words because of the effect it has on our younger generation, why aren't we regulating things like calling somebody fat?"
She’s got a point.
Jen then went off on a certain TV show that she doesn’t mention by name, but we think she’s referring to “Fashion Police.”
“Why is humiliating people funny?" she asked. "I get it, I do it too. We all do it. I think the media needs to take responsibility for the effect it has on our younger generation on these girls that are watching these television shows and picking up how to talk and how to be cool. So all of the sudden being funny is making fun of the girl that's wearing an ugly dress.”
This isn’t the first time Jen has slammed “Fashion Police” and that time she referred to them by name!
