Jennifer Lawrence is a woman at a crossroads. Awards season, which she single-handedly dominated with her charm and charisma on every red carpet last year, is approaching and the "It" actress doesn’t want us all to expect a repeat love affair to occur this time around.

“There are so many things that I do and say which come out wrong because I don’t think before speaking,” Jennifer told The Sun. “I make a fool of myself easier than anyone I know.”

After the J-Law blitz reached it’s crowning nadir—she tripped on her way to accept her Academy Award in 2013, in a Dior Couture gown no less—she’s keeping a level head about how to engage with the press on the coming circuit.

“I get so nervous before going down red carpets—particularly after that fall at the Oscars,” Jennifer continued. “I’ve tripped at least a couple of other times, too. I managed to forget to thank both the director and producer when I went on stage, so I wondered what was worse?”

Praised for her off-the-cuff remarks and ability TO KEEP IT REAL, the straight shooting celeb won’t be quite as wild with her comments during the Golden Globes, if possible.

“I can be quite rude and use some bad language. I am trying to clean up my act,” she said. “But my mom always taught me that being natural was best.”
