The thing about Jennifer Lawrence that's so cool is that she doesn’t take herself seriously, at all, ever.
During an interview with “Nightline” she proved she’s not your typical “Oscar nominee” AKA actresses who think acting and winning heavy bronze statues are the most important things ever "cough cough" Anne Hathaway.
“I just have a very weird job,” says Lawrence, “And if I remind myself of that, that it’s nothing more than that, then I don’t start thinking that it’s more dramatic than it is.”
Speaking of weird. Jennifer, along with Naomi Watts, Anne Hathaway and Amy Adams all sat down for an interview with Zach Galifianakis for his dead-pan parody talk show “Between Two Ferns.”
In the clip, Jen is offended for being too hot (is that a thing?) and then she tells Zach that he is “off-putting,” because he’s fat. Or as Jennifer put it, “get it, because you shouldn’t eat any more pudding.”
But back to the normal interview. Err, normal-ish. Jen says she’s a homebody.
Talking about the awards shows after-parties, Jennifer says, “I always go home. I stopped at Harvey’s party, Harvey Weinstein’s party, for a little bit. Got my parents drunk and then I left and went home.”
She says she’s started a tradition with her non-Hollywood friends of inviting them over and watching the awards show at her place.
“My friends have started doing this thing where they will watch whatever awards show I’m at. None of them are really in the business, which is nice. They are more in touch with the real world.”
