Jennifer Hudson's estranged brother-in-law William Balfour pleaded "Not Guilty" to first-degree murder and home invasion on Tuesday at Cook County Criminal Court in Chicago.

Balfour is accused of murdering three members of Jennifer Hudson's family in Chicago last October. Hudson's mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason Hudson, 29, were found shot to death in the family's Chicago home on Oct. 24.

The body of her seven year- old nephew Julian King was found three days later.

Prosecutors believe that Balfour was upset that Julia Hudson was dating another man (and received a present from him) and that jealously may have played a role in the crime. Balfour is being held without bail. He is due in court again on Jan. 27. Justice will prevail, so if he's found guilty, he deserves life in prison.

On a bright note, Jennifer is said to be recovering really well and is set to sing the National Anthem at the Superbowl on February 1st.
