Jennifer Hudson Makes Stunning Comeback at Superbowl

Just a few months after Jennifer Hudson made headlines for the tragedy that took her mother, brother, and nephew's life, she made a triumphant return singing the National Anthem during Sunday's Superbowl XLIII in Tampa.

Looking absolutely flawless in a cropped military jacket, skinny pants, a white top and gold jewelry, Hudson gave the performance of a lifetime at Raymond James Stadium. Did any of you notice she was actually lip-syncing? She had us fooled!

"This was such an important performance, because it's the first time everyone has seen Jennifer," the show's producer, Ricky Minor, said of Hudson.

"That's the right way to do it," said Minor of Hudson, who lip-synced the Anthem. "There's too many variables to go live. I would never recommend any artist go live, because the slightest glitch would devastate the performance."
