Jennifer Hudson, the former American Idol winner who famously lost 80 lbs and transformed her body, says she is so angry when a magazine photoshopped her cover photo to make her look thinner.
The photo was taken before she lost all the weight, but Hudson is furious they didn’t take her talent seriously and had to make her look thinner.
“It's like, 'Where's the rest of me?' They photoshopped me probably to the size I am now on that cover, when we all know I was nowhere near that,” Hudson told Dateline.
Let me guess, the magazine that did the photoshop damage was probably Cosmo, huh? And they probably put the images next to a headline that read: “Is your man cheating because you put on weight or are you bad in bed? Find out on pg. 83!”
Hudson takes pride in her weight loss, once saying, “I’m prouder of my weight loss than my Oscar!” However, that being said, she was not a fan of the photoshop.
“To me, it did not send out a good message. And it did not represent me well. Did I not just prove that talent is enough if I made it this far? Being who I am, being the size that I am?”
In case you didn’t hear, Jennifer Hudson opened up her own weight-loss center in her hometown of Chicago. She officially launched the Weight Watchers Jennifer Hudson Center in September and said, “I never thought I would make it to have my own centre. I'm so honoured to be here and see this day."
