Jennifer Hudson Graces the Cover Of Vogue

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson will make history when she becomes the first African-American singer to appear on the cover of fashion magazine Vogue.

The Oscar nominated star will appear on the cover of the magazine's annual ‘Power Issue next month’.

She follows in the footsteps of Oprah Winfrey and Halle Berry as only the third African-American celebrity to grace the cover of the fashion bible. The issue is one of the biggest and most anticipated of the year thanks to its spring fashion preview.

First full-size on the cover of Vogue too. I remember when Oprah had to start herself down to get on the cover because Anna Wintour didn't want a full size woman on her mag. Times have changed. I'm happy for Jennifer, but I'm worried that she's the favor of the month now, but then she'll fall into the background. She's a great singer, but an okay actress. I saw the movie. Her voice is awesome, but her acting is weak. It's hard enough for black actress to get movies. She should enjoy all of this as much as possible...the reality of the business will come soon enough.
